hi all, i'm new in linux world, and i've a question!!!

i've a usb dvb-t receiver, this receiver, works on usb1 port(it have a hardware pid filter!), and i use it on my linux box (ubuntu 6.10) , when i plug it, the udev recognize the pen, download the firmware on it, and create the appropiate /dev/dvb/adapter1, and all works fine!

now i think, i've a wonderfull dm 7020, it have a usb 1 port, why don't use on it?

i plug it on, and see the dmesg output, yes, it recognize a new usb peripherals! , but there's not a /dev/dvb/adapter1 !!!!

now, i'm asking, why nobody write a code, for recognize the usb dvb-t receiver, and create the appropriate device?

someone can say, yes, but enigma1 don't support two dvb adapter......

this is the second step only!!! the dm7025 have 2 tuner, i don't have it but i think it recognize it like /dev/dvb/adapter0 and /dev/dvb/adapter1, then can i use enigma2 on dm7020? if yes, why don't start this project???
