Watch and record tv on pc with TuxVisionR

    Greetings for the Festive Season !


    Attached is a modified version of TuxVision. If you at present have problem watching tv from dreambox on pc or recording on pc, please try this.


    Checked with a DM5620 for kBits/s of above 5300, with wireless lan, no problem. It should also be ok with other dreamboxes.


    It is simple to install, instructions in the Readme file.

    Sorry aber habe der readmefile nicht gelesshen ich kriege jetz der fehlermeldung nicht meht aber ich habe nog keinen bild (ipadresse is richtig und habe tuxvision wieder gestartet.

    Sorry, dies ist Computerantwort!


    Fehlermeldung bedeutet - Filter DBOXIISource.ax hat nicht installiert.


    Muss den Filter zuerst installieren.


    Wird jemand bitte der Readme.txt zu Deutsch übersetzen?

    Fangen Sie zuerst einen Kanal auf dreambox an.


    Nächst, wählt „Preview“ auf TuxVisionR aus.


    Wenn kein pcture, geben Sie bitte Kanalnamen. Ich werde prüfen. :smiling_face:

    TuxVisionR (and of course TuxVision) gets pes stream from dreambox on port 31337.

    You mean the DM7025 does not by default stream out on 31337 ?


    If so, that is the problem. If you know which port streams pes, I can change to that. But I cannot check if that will work as I don't have that box.

    No, the DM7025 have official _no_ streaming functions implemented and there is _no_ webinterface to get the pids or channels...

    I have been asked by some to include channel selection in TuxVisionR. I do not think it is necessary now-a-days as you can get the dreambox remote control on your pc by opening this on the browser :-

    when you see the remote control, it is possible to do not only channel selection, but all other functions including start plugins (such as StopTVplay which is useful for the smaller boxes to go with TuxVisionR). :smiling_face:

    I tried this software and it says

    Any guide on this?


    I want to record through my DM 500S either to my pc hard drive or to an NDAS i have connected to see files downloaded directly on my tv.


    Any guide on how to do this?

    Sorry, I have been away for some days.


    This means the filter file DBOXIISource.ax has not been registered. Have you followed the Readme instructions for registering carefully ? Please tell us what you get from regsvr32 .

    Sorry can't remember at the moment i will check when i get home.


    However i found out that my dreambox has a password on from another person.


    Probably this is the problem right?
