DM500-S shows "Service could not be found"

    Setup:
    New DM500-S with the following details:
    * Tuner: BSBE1-706A.
    * Board: Version 7.0 marked "06 11 DN500S".
    * Dream Hologram on bottom side.
    * New small silver remote.


    Connected to 4 LNB's (19.2E, 13E, 5E, 1W) trough a diseqc switch.


    Loaded Image: rel109-20060803.img.


    The box has scanned all satellites for free-to-air services.


    Problem:
    When I swap from a service on one satellite to a service on another satellite, there is a delay of 10sec to several minutes before the box starts to display any channels. In the meantime there is an on screen message (named "switch") saying: "Service could not be found".
    The problem is less frequent if I swap rapidly between services on different satellites. But the problem is back at the first service-swap after staying with the same service for a while or after a stand-by period.


    Debugging:
    * Another DM500-S from the same shipment shows the same problem.
    * My DM7020S works fine with the same setup.
    * I have also tried other Diseqc switches and LNB's - same problem.
    * Raising the LNB voltage and repeating Diseqc telegrams doesn’t fix the problem


    Does any of you have any explanation (Or a fix :D) for my problems?

    You should very carefuilly check the assignment of the Satellites to your Diseqc ports, meaning that when in the tuner configuration you assign Astra to the DiseqC port A, it should be correct, as otherwise, even if the box does actually find channels, it will get mixed up when zapping. I had a similar issue too in the past.
