I just got a 7025 with dual DVB-C tuners. First plug-in, everything works fine (nice picture on TV, got IP address from DHCP, initialized hard disk), except it won't actually try to scan the cable (Welho, Helsinki, Finland), just immediately says "error starting scanning".

As I just got the box from Dream, the software is whatever it gets delivered with, and software update says "nothing to do" so I guess it is up to date.

I can see that the german-speaking forums mention a similar problem, but I'm not sure enough the solution given is appropriate to start mucking around with Python source. One would assume it would work out of the box?

Turns out that updating to the latest firmware solved the problem, instructions for doing this can be found here. I'll now just leave the box out for my girlfriend, let's see if she can hack it...
