Dreambox packaging?!

  • I just got my 7025 with extra DVB-T and DVB-C tuners and I am a little bit surprised by the way it was packaged.
The dreambox was fixed inside its cardboard box with two pieces of polystyrene (one at each side). There was nothing (like a plastic bag) around the dreambox. Just the display had a plastic cover (kind of sticker).
On top of the dreambox (front side), there was a cardboard box containg the remote, cables etc. Between this cardboardbox and the reciever there was a 'soft bag' that was probably there to protect the front side of the dreambox. Still the front came with scratches....

My question: Is this the normal way of packaging??

  • I am not quite sure, but it could be that your dreambox was delivered to a customer previously and sent back after opening the package. My dreambox was in a plastic bag (7020) when I got it from a local audio&video store.

    Mamba
