[b]your question[How do I get 7025 to recognise USB stick for backups. Does anybody have instructions on how to get this working.]

  • It works fine with the automount-plugin.

    See also thread Automounter

or get the zip-file using this link: http://www.dream-multimedia-tv…ment.php?attachmentid=465

Just copy the files via DCC's FTP (keep the directory's structure) , then change the file's rights (also with DCC, use the right mouse button) and finaly modify the /etc/automount.conf to

    "USB-Stick -fstype=auto :/dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc"

without the "#" (just delete the character )

Then restart enigma via DCC's telnet bei entering "killall enigma2" or simply switch the box off and on.
When restarting, the USB-stick should already be placed in the USB socket to be recognized.
