Channel 4 fta in UK ?

    Hi


    I use my dreambox 7000 for watching UK and Europen free-to-air channels.


    I can view the BBC, and most ITV channels, but I cannot watch Channel 4. I have found Channel 4 on Astra 28.2E at 12168 V - 27500 - 2/3 but when I try to watch it I get 'service cannot be descrambled'.


    Oddly enough the newly free FilmFour is fine.


    Do they have any plans for unscrambled transmissions, does nayone know ?

    Hi John,


    Channel 4 is still part of the Sky Freeview package, and you still require a 20 quid Skycard to watch it (and Channel 5)


    Film Four and Film Four +1 are genuine free to air and can be received without a payment to Mr. Murdoch.


    Sorry, don't know if C4 and C5 will go free to air or not
