Unable to firmware upgrade DM500HDv2

    I'm unable to upgrade the firmware on my new DM500HDv2.
    I can successfully connect to the box and upload the new firmware. But it never starts flashing!! I've tried both with dreamup and via browser still no luck... upload ok but stuck on 0%


    Pls help

    Use ms internet explorer, opera or firefox portable
    image for 500v2 is right, not for v1?

    Tried the standard ms ie 11, chome and the latest dreamup but not any portable?
    And yes It's the v2

    I use ie 11 too, but i activate compatibility mode!

    There are some browser compatibility issues with bootloaders older than 2 years, but of course these loaders do not even exist vor the v2 boxes :winking_face: So Browser shouldn't be the problem.


    Which image did you use? Did you try a recent DreamUp-Version?
    Both of it you find on http://dreamboxupdate.com/
    Maybe re-download both, to be sure that you don't have corrupt files or something like that.

    Tried to download diffrent images and dreamup from diffrent places... (but only the newest version)
    Actually it seems like the box is rebooting after the image is uploaded but then nothing more happens. I have the boot details on the TV with bootloader #88 mac and ip address and so on but nothing more happens.

    dFlash Plugin could Flash your box nicely :smiling_face:
