DB 800 HD PVR not supported any more !

    I heard that DM 800 HD PVR is not supported any more by DreamMultimedia and that they will not issue new kernal drivers for this model as well as for DM 7025 !!?? is this true ??

    The EOL of a certain product and not porting a specific kernel due to performance reasons are two completely different topics.
    The claim that the old DM800 is considered EOL by DMM would be news to me. The last official experimental image for the DM800 was released on 13.09.2012.


    As far as I know DMM plans on releasing a final 7025+ image sometime in the future.

    Thank you for your replay, but basicly we are talking about the same thing.DM 800 HD due to performace reasons will not be ported with new drivers and modules. I intend to sell mine DM 800 HD PVR, I simple don't like the idea to be left behind. Which Dream model I should consider ? or it is time to change the producer and look for something else. I would like to hear your opinion
