Hi all!
I have just bought a wonderfull 7020HD and a 2000gb WD Elements usb harddrive. I have put in the usb and my Dreambox regocnize the HD (show name and size).
But I can't make any recordings on it, not even only pressing REC on the remote.
Do I miss something in an menu somewhere? It's both cable-tuner. Sorry about the question... but I have been looking all over for an solution!

Maybe you should ask in the VIP forum, which is dedicated to the new 7020HD?
There was a card with a number for registration in your packaging.
Use that number to register at the VIP forum.To your problem: have you set the user level in menu settings to Expert?
Have you set a bookmark to your USB drive (press two times PVR in Expert mode
to reach the bookmark configuration page)?
Have you used the bookmark as the target of recordings? -
