DVD SATA cable

    I have got my new DM8000 with the DVD cable in the packaging.
    When I look at the instruction manual on the DM website I cannot determine where to plug the cable in on the motherboard.
    The picture (page 76) show it plugged into a socket near the base of the PSU board. But that is a USB connector not a SATA cable connector, but does it have an adaptor in the picture.
    Can anyone advise the correct connector on the board to use please.

    If I remember correctly, it should be the lower right one (front facing towards you).


    The picture you saw with the USB adaptor is from an older mainboard revision. In recent revisions, the adaptor is integrated onboard and "hides" behind the lower right connector.
