after jtagging my dm500s and inserting flash erase and installing a new image ( not GM kind) the search menu doesn't appeare on the screen.only the symbole of the image is there !!!! the remote only switches on and off the dm500s !!
any suggestions please !! could it be due to the version of dream up ??
being more clear about my problem i would say : the box won't boot (Dream Multimedia Logo is shown on the LCD)
I am able to use DreamUp and flash various firmware versions, always
with success (that's what DreamUp says )
performed a lot of flash-erase and flashed a lot of image versions,
without success.
Does the boot loader could be damaged (somehwere) or it could be due to a HW failure ?
