There is no fix. The new remote only works with DM8000. If someone sold it to you as "DM500- compatible" then you have been cheated.

I bought the remote from SATMEDIA in Karlsrue. they told me is coming a FW update for this remote to make it compatible with 500HD.
Is this a cheat?
