dreambox 500s flash problem

    hi there



    while tinkering with my dm500s i unchecked the DHCP in communication in expert setup menu. the box then started flashing on and off so i thought i1d reflash the image, however after dream up has performed the flash erase it fails with the flash giving the error message "aborted by user"



    DCC also now can`t connect giving the error message "send socket not connected" so i basically have an empty box and no way to put a new image on.



    the only other thing i had done was to ftp the satankey bundle to the box.



    any help on how to get this box back working would be greatly appreciated

    Some people have reported that newer DreamUP is not working very well with DM500. You could try an older DreamUP version like 2.18 for instance.
