Why the utilization of the old reliable serial port is disabled?
Is there some hardware restrictions that you can only use RS232 as updating software?

It would be good to see the actual device implemented on the images, like /dev/ttyS0 style.

Now it seams to be impossible to use serial devices.
And I do know that there is USB2SERIAL things...

Box has the Serial Port, why not use that!
