I've DM800

I've a problem whith ipkg install of any ipk file

I get this error message

ipkg: Invalid magic
ipkg: ***  Couldnt kill old gunzip process *** aborting

I changed the img using Dreamup
unpluged usb stick
tried many ipk files from dreamboxupdate

any hints

you have to be careful with damaged downloads cause in most cases the damaged file is in browsercache and when you try to redownload it, you get the damaged file again.

usually strange problems come to my way

I deleted browser cache , but the problem still exists

I use ubuntu 9.10 and gFTP

I discovered that the problem was in gFTP , because the same ipk file doesn't work when transfered to the box via gFTP
and it works when I use another FTP program ( kasablanca)
