Fec to low on 7025

    I have an question for the devolpers
    Why is the Fec to low on the dreambox 7025, it going to 7/8 and that it.


    but pro sieben HDTV is 9/10 so it wil drop al those channels by scanning
    so maybe is the the posibilyty to add 8/9 9/10
    so we can look to those channels

    First, what you want is DVB-S2. That's a completely new encoding scheme. Not only that constellations like 8PSK can be used, the FEC is completely different (turbo codes instead of trellis). That they are called "9/10" is a bid misleading - it's completely different.


    Then, even if you could tune them in, you wouldn't be able to decode them, as they are encoded as MPEG4 / AVC, not MPEG2.


    What you need is a HDTV box. The DM7025 is no HDTV box.
