Dreambox 800 no picture over hdmi/dvi

    Hi,


    I have just recieved my dreambox and have plugged it all up but I am not getting a picture on the desired HDMI channel which its plugged into, however the scart is working! I am set at 720p 50hz DVI but no picture.


    Any ideas?

    welcome on board, had same trouble it seems their are some dm800 with defective dvi , i am saying that after communicating with dm support service and they did ask me to change the dm800 due to hardware problem. if you want the dvi to work i advise you the following, switch on the TV on the selected hdmi channel keep connecting and disconnecting the dvi cable may be around 10 times (slowly) since signal may show up any time . do not push or tighten the dvi cable till the end since by experience you will find that it will work when it is not fully in
