I encounter what seems to be a bug with VLC plugin on DM800. (VLC 'server' is v1.0 on Windows XP)
The bug seems to be related to the lenght of an HTTP entry in a .m3u playlist. See below :
The playlist is C:\vlc.m3u wich I load from the VLC plugin. It looks like :
http://dm:800@192.168.1.10/films/Frontieres.avi
http://dm:800@192.168.1.10/films/Documentaires/90_Enquetes.avi
First link plays without trouble. Second link refuses to play. :-/
The plugin browsing menu on DM800 shows :
http://dm:800@192.168.1.10/films/Frontieres.avi
...0@192.168.1.10/films/Documentaires/90_Enquetes.avi
The VLC 'server' log (from the computer side) show it's related to an access_file error:
