And today, I have been told, that also the old DM800 with old tuner (using OE 2.0 image) handles to scan the 76Mbps data transponder 12725H 30000 8/9 8PSK on 23E correctly. Another words, it will find and show the Astra2Connect service.
So the "condition" to successful scan of TP using high bitrate looks something like this: "Just use whatever single tuner slot Dreambox and throw away some expensive DM8000HD or DM7020HD"
How the hell is this possible? What makes DM7020HD and DM8000HD unable to process high bitrate TPs?

Yeah, I can add them manually, but they will still not work! Because dream can't decode the PID information from the TS. It canť see any PIDs and there is no matter if you create the setting manually - it won't help, I've try it. How would you explain, that DM500HD and DM800SE can scan those channels without problems? What is the difference between those receivers and DM8000 (+bcm4505) or DM7020HD?

Same situation with DM8000. I thought, that adding the new tuner bcm4505 to the C tuner slot will solve the BBC transponder problem on Intelsat 907 at 27.5W, but it didn't. Dreambox is now able to lock the TP 11495V 44100 9/10 DVB-S2/QPSK (SNR 12.5dB), but that's all. The transponder looks empty for it. It canť find any services. Even dvbsnoop with pidscan command can't find any PIDs - no PAT, no SDT, no PMT, etc. I don't even know if it is due to some hardware limitation of bcm7400 or it is just a dvb modules software problem? I have tried several image versions (OE 1.6, 0E 2.0) and I am using the latest dvb modules from 11.7.2012.

Another problem, I am observing, is with some SCPC channels using very low symbol rates, like 477ksps or 334ksps. The bcm4505 tuner can lock both of them, but when I am trying to scan those services, dreambox will always find nothing. I have tried this several times with same result. Transponder is locked, but also in this case dvbsnoop can't find any PIDs.

    Any ideas?
