Hi Schnappi, think my box IS really messed up so try the third option ie DreamUp. I have started the process but nothing showing in the progress bar so far.....well at least the Dreambox has not switched itself off yet.....but nothing sems to be happening. The oled shows STOP and dchp... and the light is blinking red. Is this right or have i done something wrong?

the third link is the one I understand best (I like step by step guides!!!!). Have downloaded DreamUp in preparation and would like to know which is the best/most appropriate image/firmware to use....thanks again.
