  • Strange output when flashing DM800

    Hi Homey
    Yes I have problems after flash, BUT NOT all image...
    I think it depends of the image size...


    I have tried PP 1.3.2 which is almost 52MB and boot after flash fails. It boots up but hangs after 3/4 of the progress bar...


    Original or other smaller image is no problem...


    That was why I suspected the FALSH RAM to be faulty....
    I think that I once read that you could "cleanup flash" without destroying the installed image, do you know how to do that.....

    I have a problem with flashing a DM800.
    When I connect a terminal to the DM serial port and flash it via WebInterface, I get this output:

    Now my question is, is the flash memory broken ?? Due to the text marked in RED

    Yes please fix it....




    I wonder why no developer has wirtten a comment. I another tread, were I posted my complain, a developer did comment on bugs.

    I have read all of theese treads, but I have not seen anyone complain about Teletext subtitles.


    My Problem is that the distance between 2 subtitle lines are wery big...If only one line is precent, it is OK. The line is in the botton of the screen, BUT if 2 lines are precent (I think this accours when a dialog is going on) the first line is placed in the almost in the mittel of the picture........


    Is is possible to ajust the placement of subtitles ??
    Take a look at attchment, which shows the problem.




    I know that some plugins are availeble, but they do not work wery good with recordings or Timeshift.


    ALL other stuff works like a dream :grinning_squinting_face: , my only complain is the subtitle issue :smiling_face_with_horns:




    Please take a look at this issue :winking_face: it is wery important people in the Nordic countries.
