i have a 7020hd with 1 sat and 1 hybrid tuner.
i have used the oe 1.6 image ,and it have been no problems at all.
3 days ago i tried out the new oe 2.0 from dmm. this was the second time i tried it.
i also installed gp3.2.
the problem i have had both times is a strange problem with 3-4 hd
channels on 0.8 west. every channels except these are working as normal,
but these few channels have a disturbance in the image that make them
unwatchable. they are black over the whole screen, except a little
jagged part on the top of the screen.
there is nothing wrong with the setup, as it works just fine on the oe 1.6 images.
it does not seem to be any relation between the channels, not the same transponder, etc.
have anyone else seen this, and does anyone got a solution to the problem?

hi, you have to take of the backplate to get it all the way out, the backplate is hold in place by 3-4 screws in the back.
i dont know what the closest place is for you, but normally all the dealers can deliver tunerblocks, just check and find one that has it in stock.

i have a 800hd sat version, i have had problems with tuning failed, so i bought a new tunerblock, when i changed it, the original one was a little loose in its slot, and the screw in the backplate that tightens it down were loose, so maybe you can try to take it out, put it back in, see that it is seated well in the slot, and get the screw in the back tightened ok.
my problems with tuning failed is still there, i see that it is 2 transponders on 0.8 west, and they lay together in the frequencyband.
no channels over, or under them fails, so it seems there is a problem somewhere with these 2 frequences, i have checked everything else, and dont have a switch, so it has to be a weakness with the box.
have ordered a 8000hd now, since they dont have these problems.
when i changed the tunerblock, and made sure it was seated good, and the screw in the back was thightened ok, the signalstrenght went up, so it seems to me that it is a thing you can try before sending it in for repair.
just my little tip, if you dont mind using a screwdriver yourself.

i have just ordered a 8000hd, after my 800hd have had tuning failed problems for a long time, whatever i have done to get rid of it.
im just wondering if the new oe 1.6, whit the new kernel supports ext4 now?
i have been using it on my ubuntumachine since it came, and im very happy with the performance, and it would be nice if it came to dreambox to.
im also wondering if the 2.6.30+ kernels boots on the 8000hd? or is it still missing NAND support?

i have started to compile my own images, based on the oe 1.6 branch.
one thing i miss is a possibility to change the textcolour from that ugly reddish/purple colour that is standard.
on oe 1.5 images i use 2sub for the subtitles, but havent been able to get it to work on oe 1.6.
does anyone have a fix to get the colour white on transparent, or have a fix to get 2sub to work?
i would really appreciate any help on this.
another thing i miss is time a program has played, in %, in the services meny.
are there any fix for this?

im using your skin, and like it a lot.
im using it on a selfkompiled 1.6 image now, and it runs fine.
only thing i miss is the time, in %, a program has been shown.
it is there in the 1.5 images, but not in the 1.6.
is this something you can fix in the skin, or is it a imageproblem, and is there any way i can fix it?

i found the solution to this now, with the help of adenin, and obi.
it compiled fine, but is ofcourse not working in flash yet, but runs fine on usb.

can anyone help me with this?
i have done a git pull, but cant get the obi repository to connect, but i think the kernelsource comes with a pull from the normal rep. in the makefile, but i dont know if there is some setting i can do to make it compile with the 2.6.30+ kernel?

i was wondering one more thing, to get the latest changes, is it just to go in the openembedded directory, and do a git pull? is that all i have to do?
and to use the latest kernel, is it just to change the git to opis source?

i have set up a ubuntu 9.10 64 to try to learn how to compile images for my 800hd.
i have used the script from adenin to set up the toolchain, and that went good, i also upgraded the tar to the latest version, since i read on opendreambox.org that the version in ubuntu 9.10 had a problem.
i have got the last makefile.
when i try to make a image, i get an error in enigma2.bb.
i have tried both the make, and the make_tomorrow, but both gives me a error.
i have saved the output from the terminal, and attached it to this post.
i would be greatful if any of you pros could help me out here.
