I had purchased a DM 500 HD from Dubai in a reputed shop and I didn't install for few months. Now when I start installing , the box crashed out. Is it any way possible to restore the box.

I got a DM500 HD . But since i didn't use it for six months and when I opened and installed, the box didn't respond.

Now can any one guide me how to make the box working.

This is correct. For output of ac3 you need an external device, that is capable of playing ac3- sound (most TVs are not).

If you want to downmix ac3 to stereo so that you can hear sound over the normal connection to the tv then switch on "ac3 downmix" in the AV- settings.

I had my new DM500 HD bought from Dubai. I had a question to clarrify. I tuned some channels which Video is OK but Audio doesn't come. I checked the broad caster specification which says audio relayed under AC3 format.

The Technical features of the DM500 HD say's, S/PDIF interface for digital bit stream out (AC3).What type of arrangements I have to do to get the audio. In my uderstanding ,I have to optical (toslink) cable in digital audio output port to get the AC3 audio .Please advise this is correct.

I am new to this forum. Can any one guide me how to connect two Dream box (500) to one C line.

When I connected I faced a problem , one box only works and the other hangs. I come across that I have to convert one as server and the other as client.

Could any one guide me step by step , thanks in advance
