Thanks for all the help, not. The standard 2.4 setup does not produce something that runs. Moving to 2.5 corrected things.

The patch for Freesat EPG is on the G.e.m.i.n.i DM7025 forum if there is any interest. It works fine.

The code I have from CVS still has /enigma2/pal.png. I'm using 2.4 currently. Should I move to 2.5?

I have integrated the Freesat Huffman decode into the EPG cache code and I'd really like to try it out!

Could this problem be somehow related to the settings file not being initialized correctly?

I'm having trouble getting my first dm7025 build to work. I'm probably doing something stupid!

I'm using the git Makefile (v 1.5). The image builds OK but when copied to my dm7025 and booted using Barry Allen it appears that the default skin is not initialized correctly. The png images in /usr/share/enigma2 are either 0 in size or non existant. I would guess that the skin in /usr/share/enigma2/default_skin should somehow be getting linked into the /usr/share/enigma2 directory but this doesn't seem to happen. I do get the "Initializing Defaults" screen during the first boot.

The symptom above causes enigma to fail to load with can't find pal.png.

I'll probably find what is happening in the end but if someone has already had this issue and can give me a pointer then I'd appreciate it.

I have a Dreambox 7025+ which seems to have the same problem. I'm using a Johansson switch (Diseqc 1.1). Switching is very unreliable. Is there any definitive solution to this. I tried a 30euro discount store sat tuner and it worked fine!

Is anyone working on BBC Freesat EPG. There is already a prototype plug-in developed for VDR.

I would like to know since if no one is doing it I will give it a go myself.
