Unfortunately I don't understand German very well, but just enough to see that this thread has something to do with viewing a DM800 stream on PC with VLC. I was very familiar with that on a DM7000, but when I switched to a DM800, I had many problems, until I understand that if you change the default web interface port (by example 8080 instead of 80), the streaming does not work anymore. This is a bug !

Stream viewing on PC with VLC is ok only if the default http port is unchanged (80) ! This is a bug.

For the rest, many things have still to be improved compared to the DM7000. Most of the plugins are buggy (the media player, by example).
Picture viewing is very poor too.

Anyway, if you are using DM800 just for watching TV-sat, it works very well, and picture quality is superb.

The fast forward function does not work faster than 8X.
At 16X 32X... rates, it simply does not forward. Image is freezed.
Internal hard disk is a seagate 120GB.
I have that problems with ALL firmwares tested.
Does anybody have same problem ?

The enigma-2 HTTP interface lacks some nice features, compared to enigma-1. Furthermore it is very very slow. Can we hope for a better interface in next firmware release ?

The enigma2 http interface lacks some features of the enigma1, but mainly it is VERY SLOW. Furthermore, I can't manage VLC viewing on the PC (worked like a charm on DM7000S). Except for the DVI interface and some HD channels, I regret my DM7000S !!

Same problem for me.
But if I unplug the DVI cable and DC power, I can reboot immediately.
It's like some current is sinked from the DVI cable and prevents for a good cold reset.
