    This is the entire file:

You never give up, do you?

    Building the package worked.
Instead of /packages/images I had to use /packages/ipkg because that's where the .bb is.

    Code
NOTE: package ipkg-0.99.163-r1: task do_populate_staging: completed
    DEBUG: Executing task do_build
NOTE: package ipkg-0.99.163-r1: task do_build: started
NOTE: package ipkg-0.99.163-r1: task do_build: completed
    NOTE: package ipkg-0.99.163: completed
    Build statistics:
      Attempted builds: 1

According to this, building was successful.

Then ran the make -f etc command but again it halts at:

Tried all that but again hangs at the same point.
Thank you for your help but I give up until anoncvs.handhelds.org comes online.

    Sorry but that's beyond me.
All I know to do is issue the command:

    Code
    make -f Makefile-opendreambox image

and maybe add a package or two to sources and hope for the best.
I guess I'll give up on building the image.
    At least for now.

    Same as the one above:

Do you have the attached in your package folder ?

I manged to find the appropriate folder with .bb files and the attached file is present there.
I overwrote it but still no success.

I'm sorry to bother you but where should I put this file?

/dm500plus/openembedded/packages is full of folders and there isn't a single .bb file there.

I searched all the folders but didn't find another 'package' folder.

I need this package ipkg-0.99.154-r4 and I've tried putting ipkg-0.99.163.tar.gz and ipkg-0.99.154 but it doesn't work.
I don't know what the problem is because other packages worked fine.
I tried renaming ipkg-0.99.163 to ipkg-0.99.154-r4 bu nothing.
    The error remains:

I downloaded the package again and it works.
Also, zlib was missing so I downloaded it and put it in sources but again it wouldn't work.
Then I downloaded md5 and tried again and it worked.
md5 was not needed for ipkg-utils so I guess it is a bit hit and miss this lark about compiling images.
But , nevertheless, it is fun too.
    thanks pcd!

I was using the wrong makefile.

I solved the above error but now there's this:

    Code
    NOTE: package ipkg-utils-native-1.6+cvs20050404: started
NOTE: package ipkg-utils-native-1.6+cvs20050404-r8: task do_fetch: started

NOTE: Task failed: Fetch failed: ipkg-utils
NOTE: package ipkg-utils-native-1.6+cvs20050404-r8: task do_fetch: failed

    NOTE: package ipkg-utils-native-1.6+cvs20050404: failed
    ERROR: Build of dreambox-image failed

I'm trying to build a cvs image for my dreambox 500+ but I get this error:

    I'm using this makefile:

    http://git.opendreambox.org/?p…2016765fa1f1392097fb1e1bd

My machine is ubuntu 9.04 and I have all the tools needed for the job.

    Hi

I'm using a CVS image from late September this year.

I have my laptop hdd mounted via entry in fstab on /media/hdd.

What troubles me is that there is no DVR option for recording in epg selector.

    Please see the screenshot.

This option is present when setting a timer recording via web interface but not in menu.

    I am using:

    * Enigma vom 19.12.2008

    * GCC 3.4.4 Original CVS

A couple of days ago people started having problems with Sport Klub Croatia transmitting on Eutelsat W2 at 16 degrees East in Total TV bouquet.
This problem manifests itself in a complete freezing of enigma1 boxes after around 20 seconds of watching.
Enigma2 boxes don't have this problem.
The only solution is to unplug the box from the electricity.
This problem has been confirmed by a number of members of novisf forum.
Strange thing is when I make a recording of the channel, then play it, there is no freezing of the box.
I have made a recording which I can upload if you need it.
    Please check this.
