With the latest nightly version of VLC I can easily stream these channels.

Does anyone please have a clue as to what we can do to get these MPEG4-AVC/SD - channels?

I am having a problem tuning to most channels in SD-resolution and MPEG-4(H.264). For example:

Multivision Latino on 11048H/DVB-S2/8PSK/MPEG-4 (SD) on Intelsat 905 (24,5W). The problem is also there on Viasat Ukraina.

DM800 correctly finds the channels, but doesn't display the picture, only sound.

When I compare dmesg when tuning to these channels, it looks exactly like when I tune to any other channel, EXCEPT these two lines are missing on the MPEG-4-channels:

VIDEO0: first pts xxxxxxxx
enable tsm0.

So to me it seems to be only a minor bug in the player? It doesn't detect pts and doesn't enable tsm0 (what are those?). There shouldn't be any reason the DM800 shows HDTV in H.264 just fine, while SD doesn't work?

I'd really appreciate if the developers would look into this. Would also be happy to provide a sample file, if required.

I have the same problem with Intelsat 905 (24,5 W) and the following transmission:

11048H/DVB-S2/MPEG-4 and SD (Multivision pack). No problem manually tuning to this mux, but I only receive audio, with the exception of Rumba TV where the picture is out of sync and at a bad frame rate.

Is the DM800 hardware capable of encoding SD-transmissions in MPEG-4? Is this a fixable problem or a limitation in hardware? I was hoping this could be fixed somehow as we see more MPEG4/SD-transmissions and will likely have many of them in the future...

If I record the channel to disk then I have no problem playing the resulting file on my computer... I'd be happy to provide a short recording if anyone's interested in looking into it?
