    after many months of working, my DM800 stopped tuning channels.
    after rebooting it, the receiver dont finish boot.
    after changing the kernel cmdline to output to serial console, i see these errors:

    DVB: registering new adapter (BCM7401)
    autodetecting NUMs...
    addr=41, data=00
    ret:2
    Found: Slot A, ID: 06 (by CA)
    Initializing adapter 0 (DVB-S2)
    special BSBE2 treatment:
    addr=45, data=ff
    fe: read ret=-5
    cx24116: i2c error
    (failed)

    and so on forever last 5 lines...

    any hint? i hate sending back to DM and wait months to have it back...

    is replacement DM800 tuners availables somewhere?

    I already tried asking but i'll try again...

    ...anyone has discovered+used the internal USB port of the DM800?
    It seems it is powered but not enabled/used by kernel.

    Why no DM guys explain us why that port is there?

    It's a pity not enabling+using that...

    Hello there!
    My first post here.

    I am an happy owner of first DM7000-S since its born date.
    I'm an embedded linux hacker, too.

    Now i bought a DM800.
    Today i have open it to install a SATA 2.5" hard disc and i discovered some undocumented stuff inside the receiver:
    - 256MB of RAM (instead of 128MB used by linux kernel)
    - 3rd USB port (it seems powered but it seems not be detected/enabled by linux kernel)
    - embedded SIM-size smartcard reader + SIM-size smartcard (what is it?)

    Anyone can explain me more on these?

    Thx in advance
