I think DMM must make a poll here with only a few questions.

1- is protecting Software legal yes/no
2- is protecting Hardware legal yes/no

The results will speak for them self more YES DMM did not do anything wrong if more NO DMM custommers are not the ones that respect the law.

Hello this will be the first reply in the two treads abouth 'Plagiate die' that is in english reason for that is I can't write in german. I hope a moderator will translate this reply for the german people that aren't able to read english.

First I want to note that every manufacturer has the right to protect his intelectual property this can be hardware and software. It is every manufacturers right to create software that only works on their hardware.

For years companies like Sony protect there intelectual property, for example take the PS2 and PSP the moment these devices where hacked Sony created games that where not working on hacked consoles or games that needed firmware updates to play these new games, these fimware often disabled the modchips or hacked bios. Did any of you say they didn't have the right to do so??

Now DMM created something that is only working on NOT Plagiate recievers (what is there right) and many of you are complaining. Did you also complain to (by example) Sony when the changes there firmware?? Probarly the same people that mod there console to play cheap pirated games are the same as the ones that buy cheap pirated satelite recievers. These people do NOT have the right to complain as they are the once that are taking the risc of buying cheap boxes.

What we can wait for now is a move of the manufacturer of the Plagiate boxes. If they have a smart ass over there that can create a plugin or other piece of software that is disabeling origional DMM boxes all DMM box users have a problem. And what can we say they have the right to create software that is only woring on there plagiate boxes.

So I think whe have to be honest towards each other and be carefull with software. People that create software must note for witch device there software is created origional or plagiate.

An official statement from DMM that DMM software will only work on origional DMM hardware and any use of this software on NOT DMM hardware is on your own risk is enough. No discussion is needed when plagiate hardware is not functioning after the use of DMM software. Its youre own risk and youre own responsibility to check if you have the origional hardware.

And then a last note for EU country inhabitants. When you buy EU products you make the EU stronger. It is good for our economy at the end whe will not need plagiate product from countries like China. When we buy from chinees manufacturer whe wil make there economy stronger and stronger and at the end whe are the loosers.

Hallo, MCUT is working great for me but what I miss is the posibillity to start mcut from the menu. The cuteditor can be found when pressing the menu button. Is it posible to configure on of the other buttons as a start the cutting process button.
