UPDATE.
guys i changed the comport converter for a new one and made sure it was vista compatible and it worked first time on the laptop.

are you using a laptop or desktop? also what os are you using ...ie windows xp or vists?

thanks guys i got it sorted, had to put windows 98 onto an old pc and it worked with that no problem.

using that version worked two weeks ago without lan (ftp/telnet) connection . so i can only think its a vista/dreamup/commport converter problem.

Nachdem ich hier den Thread gefunden habe, habe ich schmerzfrei 15-20 hintereinander versucht mit DreamUp eine Verbindung herzustellen und plötzlich gehts..... keine Ahnung woran es liegt, aber in englischen / amerikanischen Foren ließt man auch einiges über diesen Fehler. Es handelt sich dabei definitiv um keinen Einzelfall und sollte demnach Anlaß für die Entwickler sein, sich dessen mal anzunehmen.
Selbstverständlich habe ich die aktuellste DramUp-Version verwendet.

thanks devilfish,network is unticked. on the version of dreamup i,m using has no option to flash erase. it does not even tell me it found an injectable whatever , it just tells me its a 600 pvr. any thing else i can try? i,m on a laptop so i,m using a usb to comport converter.if i use the desktop i get the german message about intervert os something. many thanks again.

your questionhi i,m a newbi and i am having trouble trying to flash with dreamup. i have a 600pvr with the cli600 image and want to change it. it worked fine last week. i start dreamup and it tells me to power up the dreambox, then it tells me its a 600pvr but thats as far as i get. it wont let me flash ie.flash is not highlighted. any ideas guys?
