That would be great because as you all know the 600pvr has issues with dreamview or any other streaming program apart from dreamstream ... so that could be great news !!!

    Thanks a lot for support

Hi everybody .. I waas wandering if it was possible to implement a Recording option in DreamStream . The stream comes out so smooth and perfect respect to other programs that I'd like to record right from there on my pc ....

Please provide some information about the hard- and software used.

    Box type:dm600pvr

I've been having problems with recording on my 600prv and it seems I'm not able to find a valid solution, so I'm in search of help or of more ppl with the same problem to confort me on this possible bug.

I tryed recording on an internal HD I installed in the box and it recorded normally but when I tried to open the .ts with ProjectX I found that the stream was full of errors "cannot find sequence data ...." .
I then tried to record with Ngrab , ggrab and similars and with this programs it all goes fine apart the fact that sometimes the recording don't start and I get some error in the ngrab log file.
Finally I even tried to record using a CIFS mount on my computer. Same problem I get with the internal HD !! And even more : if I try to record a Mediaset (italy) channel , I get a very discontinuos recording probably due to the very high bitrate the provider sends the streams at !!!

So in my tries , that now are getting very annoying , I monitored the LAN connection throughput , and I discovered something very strange :
    Recording with NGRAB (when all goes fine) the LAN throughput is quite stable to a 12% of my 100Mb lan speed ... and all goes fine ;
Recording with CIFS the throughput is very jumpy (like an electrocardiogram) and constantly varies from 8% to 0.05% of the LAN available speed !!!!

Is this an already reported problem ? Can I expect a solution for this or is it a bug and there's nothing to do ? Did anyone else notice this in his recordings ??

Sorry for the long post but I wanted to be as clear as possible , hoping that someone from dream-multimedia whould take time to read it and answer me properly .

Hello , I'm having a problem in recording with the decoder .
if I record something on the 80G PATA 5400rpm hard disk I installed , upon whatching the recordings , I find some pixalations of the image in an order of 1/2 every 40 minutes of recording time. Also this either on free or pay channels. This can be annoying when converting the recordings to dvd for archiving purpose not having a perfect movie/tvserie/documentary ...
Opening the .ts file with ProjectX I encounter in this pixelation areas the error : Cannot find sequence header

I've seen this error reported on various forums .... is it a known problem ? Can it be easyly solved ??

Sorry for the crosspost in the english section ... but noone even looked at this problem of mine.

Hello, I bought a new decoder after getting an answer from dream-multimedia stating that my other box , a 500s, was a clone , and I bought a dm600pvr.
I find it very nice but I'm having a weird problem in the last few days (I bought it last friday) : when I zap to some channels (not all of them just some) I get "Channel not found" and signal values of snr 65 , agc 99 , ber 11100 or more .... then just staying on the channel all of a sudden the channel becomes visible and the values jump to : snr 95 , agc 99 , ber 0 and I get a perfect view (exeption made to some little freezes that still occurr even on that signal strenght!!).
When this occurs on for example a Fox channel on Hotbird , if after getting the perfect values and view I zap foreward and then back to that channel , the values are still perfect and I see the video.
It feels like it does some sort of a fine tuning on those channels I don't immediatly get the signal for, but still after some time going back to the same channel provokes the sme problem again....

What can it be ? A tuner problem ? Or because I'm using vhannibal settings for my dualfeed , a problem with the settings ??
In case I would like to buy a new tuner where can I buy it ? Is it buyable even in "normal" tv/sat/electrics shops ? is it the same module that is on the dm7025 ??

Please provide some information about the hard- and software used.
