I have noticed that when I set the output to S-video, the composite video and RF-output turns black and white, which is really stupid. Is this a hardware limitation or just a software problem?

If it is hardware, is it then a chip-set problem or a board design problem?

I tried using the internal RF-modulator, but it appears to be more or less useless as the picture quality is really bad, with flicker other artifacts. It seems that the power is not properly filtered to the modulator.

I'm using an external modulator that gives me stereo sound as well I wonder why the designers use such low quality design in a supposedly state-of-the-arts machine.
