I will try your plugin ASAP. Don't forget that it works only with a very recent version of Enigma2, so users of well known non-original images won't be able to use it. Of course we can adapt it older images if necessary.

Thanks for this binary. When I try to grab a picture with it, I get a nearly transparent picture without background video. Is there a way to capture video as well as menus?

I want to I want to take screenshots with my DM7025. The dreambox-dvb-tools-1.0 package has a program called grabpic. It tries to open the /dev/video file but it doesn't exist on the DM7025. I compared showimage version 1 with v3 (the one for DM7025) and it has several differences. Can someone give me some hints on how I can port grabpic to the DM7025, or tell me another method to do a screenshot?

The Enigma2 developpers have started including keyboard support in keymap.xml. My version is based on keymap.xml r1.81 so it will only work on recent CVS images.

On this page you can find a table with key mappings. It's in French but if I can translate it.

My remote controller broke and I had to find an alternative in order continue using my DM7025. I modified the keymap.xml file and added new bindings to map each key of the RC to a key on the keyboard. If you think this functionnality can be useful to some, I'll be glad to share this file. Note: This is just for Enigma2, so Tuxtxt doesn't work with keyboard for now.

Sorry, I'm a bit late. You can use GNU diff3 to do 3-way merge in console. It's in the "diff" package on Debian. On the graphical side, for GTK you can use Meld and for KDE you can use Kompare.

Your problem is that you don't tell Enigma2 to use the new language. You have to modify /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Language.py and add French.
