    Homey,

As I have mentioned in my post, I have no problem with IP. The box is on the network and I can telnet into and FTP into it and browse everywhere and do whatever I want. But there is NO HTTP server running there.
    Watch this:

The Network is NOT my problem. There is no HTTP server there and the standard Dreamup is making me having nightmares instead of dreams

There is something funky going on with my DB7025. It is a guess work as to whether or not the dreamup will work or not. I have tried the serial cable method which it sometimes detects and starts loading the boot loader but then when I select the new image it just sits there and nothing happens. Using the crossover cable it never hooks up and never bothers. I have also tried to do it over the network with my other PC and that doesn't go anywhere either. Can someone from the development shed some light on this, please?
Can I telent into the box and flash it with this image. I have telnet access to the box. Its a shame that DB7025 does not have HTTP interface

Yes, I have followed the instructions step by step and not only once but several times.?(

Please provide some information about the hard- and software used.

    Box type: DB-7025
GUI (enigma1/enigma2): enigma 2 as of yesterday
    Firmware version: latest

your question: I was wondering about the DVB-C (Cable) tuner for the 7025. It is nice to have it both in one box and have all your programms to get recorded in one place. Is this tuner available or coming out soon?

When I use it to download the satellite list, it comes back with this error (screenshot below)

This is the original file from the factory. I have not touched it at all.

I have FTPed the satellite.xml file to my PC and Ican edit it. But it is such a painful process to replace every single satellite with its transponders, etc, etc. Is there a satellite xml file for Americas that I can use to add any new sats that I need to it?

Please provide some information about the hard- and software used.

Firmware version: latest firmware from http://dm7025.dreamville.de as of today

    your question

What is the easiest way to edit/update the satellite list. I tried using the dreamboxedit 1.90.02, but it can not handle DB7025 properly.

All right done. and after this message: "Updaten sollte funktioniert haben. Bitte jetzt die Box per Fernbedienung neustarten!"

It rebooted fine and came back in PAL. I did the echo ntsc > /proc/stb/videomode and switched it to NTSC. using the menu that now for the first time I can see, I went to A/V settings and found the setting for video which was on PAL and changed it to NTSC. BUT, how do I save this? the up and down arrows just move through the available options there and there is no way I can get to the "OK" button to say, thank you, please save this for the future !?!? How do I save this?????

I tried those instructions that I have a DHCP server on my network. The DB has no problems getting an IP address and as I mentioned before, I can access it through telnet from my PC. but when I get to step 4 on your instructions to open a web browser and go to the DB, it comes back with blank. there is no HTTPd running there.

I just got my 7025 and I have a couple of questions:

    1) How do I set the video output from PAL to NTSC? since it is in PAL mode, I have no picture and there is no HTTP interface as far as I can tell.

    2) How do I flash this box with the latest image? I tried following the instructions on the site and it doesn't work. It gets into a stage where it says: "box is in serial HTTP mode, 127.0.0.11" and then nothing happens.
I have conencted to it via telent and here is the output of the ps ax comamnd:

enigma2 is running, but where is the HTTPd?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I just got my DB7025 and since it wasn't available in US, I ordered it from Europe. I hooked it up to my TV and it is set for PAL tv format. so there is no picture. I have also hooked it up to my home network and it is up on the network and I can ping it and telnet to it. The question that I have is how do I access the HTTP interface of it and whethre or not I can change the video from PAL to NTSC from the telnet or web interface?

    Thanks!
