I've installed an Exelstor 80 GB, at initialise stadium the bos answer: mkfs failed. But the drive is recognised by the box. I have asked DMM but no answer upon today. What's the problem ?
It's a 7200 RPM as the vendor says, there are no more 5400 RPM.

Hi Olivier from Ch ! I know somebody overthere with the same name, but I'm not sure it's you ! How much hair remains on your head ?
After five years with a XSat 310 I decide to go to new experiences. I've bought yesterday a new 7025. The manual gives nothing to somebody who nevers play with a Sat decoder !
More, I was thinking that the manual of the 7020 S could help, but the OSD of the 7025 is not that of the 7020 S. The product seems not finished but already to sell. The buyers will play the alpha testers !
But as a FTA receiver without favorites lists it's works ! :loudly_crying_face:

    Hi Gedeon,
I receive my dreambox7025 yesterday as you. As you, I'm very disapointed about the OSD, it's a pitty. I was thinking that the lasted soft was inside. So, as you, I decided to Flash the box with the lasted published soft. But, some bad experienced tought me to first look at forum's and I read your problem.
So I used DreamUp and everythings looks OK but the result seem the same as you. It seems that the box did'nt boot but it's no right !
The box boot like a new one, everything is forgotten. Do'nt look at the LCD, connect it to a TV.
What I saw is that the new firmware release from 16/01/06 is the same as that was inside the box. So, nothing is change.
The soft may be the same or the flash did'nt work, but the box is working when I rescan the satelites.
