  • Translation bug

    In the french translation "Timer" has been translated as "Horloge", now.
    Horloge is mostly used in the meaning of "Clock" so the older translation of "Programmation" was beter.

  • Dreambox 7025 doesn’t find channels with low SR

    Hello,
    Just to let you know that the problem is increasing.
    I put one of the latest Oozoon images in the box, and now even a channel that was recieved fine before gives me "tune failed" error.
    This channel is TPA on NSS7 11648 H SR 5926.
    In satfinder i got a lock on this transponder, after 5 or 6 seconders heavy moving off the bars, with an SNR of 92% and a AGC of 99%.
    But in scanning module those channels are not recognised.

  • Dreambox 7025 doesn’t find channels with low SR

    On NSS7 and W3A there are several channels with a low symbolrate, you can easily retrieve them in the lyngsat charts, ex MBS on 10976 SR 3333
    The problem is that those channels don’t appear with a channelsearch.
    Even a manual search don’t let them appear.
    In satfinder I get a lock on those channels, but only after +/- 5 sec and the indicators are moving heavily. It gives then an SNR of above 90 and AGC of 99.
    I checked with my good old Nokia Mediamaster 9500 and he has no problem to catch those channels.

  • Indication about downloads

    Hello,


    Is it possible to have some indication about the downloading for each file in the software update ?
    With a slow connection it is not always clear if the downloading is still going on, or has stopped.
    And also when a downlaod is interupted by connection lost, there is no resume.

    There is a similar problem with CanalSat Horizon on NSS 7 for Africa.
    EPG is present since it shows up on original decoder.
    But on dreambox nothing, not even the now and next wich shows N/A

  • PPPoE and dm 7025

    Just an follow up for maybe other people in the same situation.
    Finally the connection is working.
    The computer connected to the internet has two network cards, one is for the internet connection with provider and the other for local network.
    The PPPoe connection is shared and there is an switch connected to the second network card to have internet on a second computer and the dreambox.
    The problem was that i used a router to connect the second network card and the other items and there was an conflict with the fixed IP adres given by the ICS and router., 192.168.0.1. Changing this adres in the router configuration didn't worked.
    I have now an switch and this works well. When the dreambox or the other computer needs internet the dialing is made by the first computer.

  • PPPoE and dm 7025

    Thanks for helping me.
    First i need to say that i'm living in RD Congo, more specific in Kinshasa.
    The PPOE connection I have is by mean of radio-waves, eg my computer is connected to an Midas modem, wich has a port for an telefone and an RJ45.
    This modem is connected to an antenna, a box of 15 cm by 20 cm.
    The speed of the connection is 35 kps and the cost is 125 us a month.


    I have a D-Link 604 router wich normally can handle ppoe, bit not with my provider. In fact the provider don't alllow to share the connection in usual way, but it can be shared with appropriate software and configuration.


    I tried to share the connection through the windows ICS but its not working.


    The only thing i can do is connect one computer a time to the internet.


    I could pay for the extra software and configuration, but since the connection is slow, i believe connecting one computer a time is a better solution. That brings me back to the original question.

    Hello,
    Dvbsnoop is included in the cvs, but is it working ?
    Giving the command
    "dvbsnoop -s pidscan" gives the copyright information and then a mention that transponder is scanned, but nothing happens and the box hangs.


    I used it in the latest ozoon image and before with the dream soft,but without any result.
    Any help is welcome.

  • PPPoE and dm 7025

    Thanks for the answer, but it's not exactly what i needed, since the downloading of plugins and use of softwareupdate requires an box connected to the net.
    My internet provider doesn't allow a shared connection, so i need to connect the box directly to the web, wich means i must give an username an a password, just as connecting my PC.
    So, can this be done, i guess in a telnet session, and how ?

  • Parental Control with dream 7025

    Hello,


    With my original decoder seca decoder I have to give a keycode (4 digits) to be able to watch programs rated as 16+.
    When there is such a program the software ask me to input the parental code, and if its right then the image clears.
    With the dreambox when i zap to such a program the screen stays black.
    I thought the parental control build in the latest cvs would resolve this problem, but not;
    It's very anoying since the provider rated for instance "Last temptation of Christ" as 16+ and i was not able to see it on dreambox, well on my original decoder.
    This problem is with the ci cam and also with emu-cams. So, is there a special trick or is it a missing feature in soft ?
