Can you please add the following line (in the file "/usr/share/enigma2/encoding.conf") to all next releases for Arabic Encoding:

    ara ISO8859-6

Because we add it manually all the time with each release.

    Thanks in advance,

    With my best regards,

No !! what you say is wrong .. dm7025 can detect external USB disc .. for exemple I have a usable external disk with [Moderator] Fremdimage, verstößt gegen die Boardregeln [/Moderator] 1.40, there is no problem ....

What to do to let dm7025 detects external USB disc ?

You will be able to connect a external harddisc but you can´t record to this. Too low bandwith on USB1.1. But i think for playing mp3 it will work.

The dreambox 7025 does not see the external hard disk connected through USB port !

Please provide some information about the hard- and software used.

Is there a way to record on external hard disk connected through USB port on dreambox 7025?

When comparing the X-speed ratings of Compact Flash cards from different manufacturers, users need to beware that manufacturers define this rating differently and in some cases do not define it at all. Some definitions refer to the X-speed as "read" speed or "write" speed. Others use it to mean both and call it "data transfer" speed (referring to read and write speed).
Compact Flash cards with a higher X-speed rating are designed to perform faster.

    50X = 50(multiplier of 150KB/sec) =7,500 KB/sec = 7.5 MB/sec
    1 KB = 1,000 Bytes; 1 MB = 1 million Bytes.

When a Compact Flash card is rated at 50X, does this mean that data will transfer at 7.5 MB/sec in any host device? Not necessarily.

Any host device is itself limited by the speed of its interface to the Compact Flash card. Often, the host device has a lower read and write speed than the Compact Flash card, so the end result is that the Compact Flash card cannot operate at its best performance level. A good example of this is that a device may only support 10X read speeds, so using a 45X or faster Compact Flash card will not improve performance. Most host devices do not have clearly documented Flash card interface read or write speeds, so it may be difficult to know your host device's exact capabilities. That is why I am asking: What is the reading speed of compact flash interface for DM7025 ? The answer to this question will help us to choose the exact (or best or optimum) speed of our Compact Flash card.
    Thanks to all of you.

    Read the Boardrules, please.

Can I ask one more thing:
I added the following transponders and scanned manually in Nilesat:
    Nilesat: 10970 H 27500 3/4 6 Channels (Orbit)
    Nilesat: 11008 H 27500 3/4 9 Channels (Orbit)
    Nilesat: 11057 H 27500 3/4 10 Channels (Orbit)
    Nilesat: 11092 H 27500 3/4 9 Channels (Orbit)
Although I can watch the channels, I cannot find these transponders anywhere including satellite.xml ?

Let me put my question as follows:
1.I did scan in March04, one satellite, say HotBird, and got 50 transponders (Tran01 to Tran50) and 700 channel (CH001 to CH700).
    2.In March18, HotBird added a new transponder (Tran51) with 6 Channels (CH701 to CH706).
    3.In March18, does dreambox7025 add the new transponder (Tran51) with 6 Channels (CH701 to CH706) by itself ?
Or if I Rescan HotBird do I get the new transponder (Tran51) with 6 Channels (CH701 to CH706)?
    Thanks in advance.
