Logitech Harmony One Remote as metioned before.
It's not possible to change volume when using ac3 because it's only passthrough.
With downmix it's downmixing it to 2 channels that's why you can change volume with that on .

Only the author of that plugin (Gruffy) can fix it because it needs to be recompiled for new libs and i don't think that will happen until OE1.6 is stable branch.
Changing subtitle colors can be done in your skin.xml file in /usr/share/enigma2 dir.
But linebreaks in subtitles is broken and DMM is not interested in fixing that . -
I know but most images use official git and will have broken subtitles.
That makes the internal subtitles useless in all images.
It should be fixed in DMM's git. -
Well nice work but that doesn't help us that want to use other images...
And about colors... I just want white subtitles and nothing else so it's no problem for me atleast.
Why different colors in subtitles?
Another nice thing would be automatic subtitles in some language like Swedish. -
Maybe you should try to fix this and see if DMM accepts it.
-
You must have linux and then build the whole OE enviroment and compile enigma2 yourself with that patch.
You can't just put in in the box.
Can't understand why DMM is ignoring this subtitle problem that even the most cheapest boxes can handle. -
newer tuxtxt with caching is already ported to enigma2 by PLi and is already in OE 1.6 branch...
I don't understand why DMM not fix it in OE 1.5 branch too... -
and still no proper linebreaks.
If it's hard to get it working for all people we could have an linebreak=0|1 option to turn linebreaks on/off.
That should work for everyone... -
Well as i said it should not be needed to do that because the channels is already sending linebreaks but DMM is removing them or something...
Very annoying and not easy to read...
Check this thread for more about this
How to change subtitle text color? -
Coder of 2sub is doing other things now so updating 2sub is not a priority.
I don't think it needs to check for - in subtitles.
It should show the subittles as it's ment to be.
Not on same line as DMM is doing now.
Gusax have a patch that fix the problem for countries with only 2 lines in subtitlles but DMM don't want to use that patch. -
That is a problem with 2sub 2.08.xx and newer versions...
With 2sub 2.07.12 it works as it should but that version doesn't work with dm800...
Internal subtitles works but DMM don't care about fixing proper linebreaks (atleast in Scandinavia it doesn't work)... -
I agree that the patch should be modified to work with more than 2 lines...
But i don't understand why channels have have more than 2 lines in subtitles...
I have never seen that on any channel here atleast...You can already use any TTF font you want so i don't see any problem there...
I don't see any problem with a lineheight setting either but ofcourse you need to add it in the skin or atleast in skin_default.xml...
Maybe things can be done better to get this to work so i don't care if Gusax patch is used or if they fix it themself... only we will get working subtitles...
Some people wants transparent black backgrounds in the subtitles also but personally i don't want that so an option for that would propably make people happy... -
It's hard for people in countries that is dubbing everything to understand how important subtitles is for people...
Everyone in nordic countries wants better subtitles and probably other countries as well...
And for people that says that DVB subtitles is better that is not true...
With teletext i can choose what font, size, color etc i want on the subtitles...
With DVB subtitles that is not possible and i dont want channels to choose how my subtitles looks...
Here in sweden most channels that not have burned in subtitles have Teletext subtitles..
Skinnable subtitles is fixed now and that is good but that is useless until proper linebreaks is fixed... -
Sorry but many people are asking for this...
Even cheap boxes for $50 have proper subtitles... -
Please fix proper line breaks also in CVS...
-
please add this patch in CVS!!!
-
-
please can we have latest tuxtxt with teletext caching in OE1.5 too... it's already in OE1.6 so it shouldn't be so hard to fix...
many people are asking for this... -
some people have problems with subtitles on recordings after latest change in CVS...
Seems to happen when you watch on a channel with subtitles activated and then watch on recording...
If you change to another channel with no subtitles activated then it will work on the recording...
This happens with both Teletext and DVB subtitles... -
anyone working on proper linebreaks in CVS?
