Sweden use DVB-T2 for HD channels but only free channels works because they use CI+ for HD channels.

You could try change to another font manually in the skin until this is fixed.
-
Yes but it's not enough with that line you need to change that line that's what i ment but for me that's readable enough.
Also changing to another font could make it more readable. -
No problem here to read in bright background as long there is black shadow.
You can modify the skin for more shadow if you want.
But ofcourse it would be nice with options for transparent / background, font size, move subtitles up/down, autolanguage etc.
But working subtitles is a big step in right direction :). -
Linebreaks already works in latest Enigma2.
Background in subtitles sucks in my opinion so should be an option then. -
BIG APPLAUSE and MANY THANKS!I trust Letherface in this case, havn't tested it myself!
Haven't tested it myself either when i am 150 miles from my home right now but other people says it works now. -
Finally thank you
-
You can see teletext on encrypted channels also.
-
In lib/dvb/teletext.cpp
} else if (!m_subtitle_text.empty() && m_subtitle_text[m_subtitle_text.size()-1] != ' ')
m_subtitle_text += " ";This adds a space instead of a linebreak before next teletext line.
Ofcourse it should add a linebreak there and not a space.
This is priority numer one to fix.
Next thing is to fix automatic selection of language with configuration like openpli already has.
Or atleast select same language as GUI language. -

Who says DMM doesn't want to pay the license, the just didn't get a license from Dolby yet. They can't implement it as long as they didn't get one, and Broadcom will not provide the needed microcode update without a proper license. CI+? Why should they support this restrictive crap. I think there is a solution for your providers smartcard too, even without support for the CI+ module.
And stop complaining about functions that were never officially announced.
No there is no solution for providers that are using CI+. Without CI+ support you will have a expensive FTA box.
More and more providers are using it atleast for HD channels now.
But problem is that the box need to be more closed before they will get a CI+ license. -
In sweden we have DVB-T2 for HD channels.
But without CI+ it won't work on encrypted channels anyway. -
XBMC PVR is coming to other boxes soon so then there is no reason to buy Dramboxes with crappy closed Enigma2 code that can't handle subtitles.
Until then i recomend everyone to use openpli's repository. -
Still waiting here too...

Again tuxtxt isn't an option or teletext on TV. Should not be needed to have tuxtxt running with big and ugly subtitle.
I want working subtitles without activating teletext and not possible on TV either because i use a projector as TV.2SUB did a good job most of times but is broken now with Enigma2 3.2.
openpli have since long time ago working subtitles and settings for language etc now.
DMM should talk with them to use their changes or atleast fix that damn linebreak that takes 10 seconds to fix.
But i guess it's hard for german people to understand what the problem is. -
And this show settings for openpli's perfectly working subtitles. No need to choose language with yellow button for every channel etc.

Possible to add support for www.undertexter.se ?
-
tuxtxt isn't an option. Internal subtitles must work.
-
On all boxes including the most simple cheap box for about 20-30€ this works as it should except on Enigma2.
Working subtitle:
- This is an example line when person 1 speaks.
- This is an example line when person 2 speaks. On Enigma2:
- This is an example line when person 1 speaks. - This is an example line when person 2 speaks.Or often even worse
- This is an example line when person 1 speaks. - This is an example line
when person 2 speaks. This is only a problem with teletext subtitles and not DVB subtitles that some channels are using especially HD channels and burned in subtitles in the picture.
So the problem is that DMM choose to add space for every line when it should be a linebreak. Please atleast fix that and many will be happy.
There is another option and that's openPLi image that have working subtitles since long time ago and also teletext caching.
