There is deffenintly still a problem with the Dm7025 positioning system or the LNB voltage supply.

Using the digipower SG2100 motor i can set up the position as indicated by the above instructions. But when i goto search for a new satellite there is no voltage being supplied to the motor. The motor only draws 350Ma Max current when pushing a 90cm dish.

This motor works fine with the DM500, DM7000 and DM7020 but not the DM7025.

    Any idea?

Logical channel numbering is assigning channels to preset position according to the data provided in the stream. LCN is not used on DVB-S only DVB-T services

What trumpton is talking about is has nothign to do with Logical Channel Numbering. Do not get channel lists and LCN confused.

Cmon guys please do not ignore this issue, or at least reply so we can tell our customers that the DM7025 is not compliant to DVB-T standards with confidence

    your question

Here in Australia all DVB-T STB use "Logical Channel Numbering ".

This means if you press "7" on the remote it will goto digital channel 7 rather than the broadcasters physical VHF freq on digital 8. LCN info is sent in the Data stream but the STB must support it.

LCN is regarded as an australian market compliance feature so is it possiable to have "Logical Channel Numbering" implemented as a setup menu feature??

Thanks for a great box, the DM7025TT with a 350gig hdd is just magic

There are 2 channels on Asiasat3 @ 105.5E that are causing the DM7025 to reboot when i attempt to watch them.

I can watch most channels on Asiasat3 with no problems, but when i try to watch the following channels the DM7025 displays the first frame of the picture and then the box reboots.

    Asiasat3 @ 105.5E
    TV One, 3739 V , SR 2894, FEC 3/4
    Aaj TV, 3750 V , SR 2821, FEC 3/4

Ive tried these channels on the DM7020 and they work fine. The problem is only with the DM7025.

    thnx guys

try to alter the frequency 5mhz each way from the center freq. I had same problem and found the tuner had drifted a touch.

Also check if you are sending 5V up the line (if required), if not turn the 5v option off.

Cband now works on Tuner A but not Tuner B

If you config Tuner B as a cband setup and try to auto seach, the DM7025 starts scanning Tuner A and the channel map associated to it.

Its great to see Felix and the team hard at work, looks like the guys are working 24/7 over there

Good to see you over here blindman.

since the DM7000 we have had to fight to get other LNB freqs added to the standard firmware.

The DM500 and DM7020 runs cband (5150) no probs but for the life of me i cant understand how this has been stuffed up with the DM7025.

pleeeeese dream can you fix this!

Please provide some information about the hard- and software used.

The Manual search feature for cband now allows you to enter cband frequencies - GREAT

BUT when you try to scan a Cband satellite the DM7025 finds no channels on either LNB1 or LNB2.

    Could dream please fix this.

When trying a "Manual Scan" you can not enter any frequency less than 10000MHz.

This needs to be fixed to accept lower freqs for C-Band, Sband etc. In the previous dreambox models this was easily done by entering eg 04000MHz

Id love to be able to watch DW-TV in Cband on Asiasat2

When setting up lnbfs with wizard at first boot there is a fault.

If you select "Simple" lnbf option, you will see the satellite name in the automatic scan wizard - no problem

But if you select "advanced " lnbf option the satellite name does NOT appear in the automatic scan wizard and you can not scan anything.

Would be great if this could be fixed asap.We dont all use universal lnbfs
