Again: 192.168.0.24 is shown in the dropdown list "select one:". That means, this IP is assigned to the PC as well and you can't use it for the Dreambox.

Just use any other free IP for the Dreambox (192.168.0.11 for example).
When booting via DreamUp the Box does not use any internal settings from the firmware - it will use the IP you enter in "Remote IP (Box)"

What is the real IP of your PC? You assigned 192.168.0.1 but the dropdownlist for the local IP ("select one:") shows 192.168.0.24 as a local IP too.

You assgined this IP (.24) to the Dreambox wich means that Dreamup tries to talk to itself instead to the box.

DreamUp should have shown a warning after you pressed the "Connect" button complaining about this IP (.24) stating that this is not a Dreambox.

To make it clear: "select one:" shows local IP addresses for the PC. This IPs are allocated by windows for the PC and may not be used as IP for the Dreambox (maybe I should check even this rare situation).

Please check your network configuration for DreamUp and try again.

If the message shown reads "ERROR resetting lock-bits!!", your box really seems to be defective

So "return to sender" and have it exchanged/repaired.

Did you use the actual version of DreamUp V 1.2.2.0 from http://www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/download/DreamUP.zip ?

This version fixes the "waiting for acknowledge" bug, which only affected a few boxes (seems like yours is one of them).

Ich weiß ja nicht, was Du alles "gespielt" hast.

Aber wenn die Fronttasten an der Box auch nicht mehr reagieren (Kanal vor/zurück), dann ist die Software wohl auch "kaputtgespielt" - wobei ich nicht wüsste, was man da verbiegen könnte.

Die Batterien in der FB sind nicht zufällig kurz vor "leer"?

Falls Du eine Digitalkamera mit Display hast, schau mal ob die FB noch Signale sendet (die Sendediode leuchtet im Kameradisplay beim Drücken einer Tate auf).

Wenn da alles OK aussieht und ggf. ein neu Flashen der Box nicht hilft, fällt mir aus der Ferne auch nichts mehr ein.

Drück mal die Dream-Taste oben auf der Fernbedienung, die steht wohl im TV-Modus (Taste TV leuchtet bei Tastendrücken auf).

Ansonten nimm mal die Batterien für eine Weile aus der FB.

Mit "init 4" enigma2 abbrechen, in der /etc/enigma2/config nach der Zeile suchen, die mit "config.av.tvsystem=" beginnt. Diese in "config.av.tvsystem=*pal*:ntsc" ändern und mit "init 3" enigma2 neu starten.

If it goes wrong (box won't boot up anymore etc.), you can always flash the old image via 2nd stage and a webbroswer using the method described above.

Switching from PAL to NTSC if you can't see anything on you TV:

echo ntsc > /proc/stb/video/videomode

This is only a temporary switch, you still have to change the videomode in the setup after that.

If you follow the instructions given on the website above, there will be a webserver running on the box with an IP assigned via DHCP (or fixed, if you told the 2nd stage loader to use one).

DiseqC A/B ist die Standardeinstellung für sowas. Das kommt aber auch auf die (mögliche) Konfiguration des Umschalters an.

Wenn das nicht funktioniert, gehe halt die beiden verbleibenden Möglichkeiten noch durch

Zwischen dem 9800 und den beiden Kabeln muss aber ein Switch oder Relais hängen.

Beschreibe bitte mal genau, was Du an Sattechnik hast. Aus Deinen Postings ging bisher nur hervor, dass Du ein Kabel zu einem Quad LNB verlegt hast - damit geht nur eine Satposition.
