    Little strange thing I came across.

    Doing a build from OE and everything works, I can do -cclean world and rebuild again.

    Now I built the package neon and could do a image and everything worked until I made a -cclean world. After that I tried to build a image again but get this error on gst-plugins-bad,

    Done this now twice on my OE.

    In old E1 you could change the file config inside OE when building an image but now with E2 I cannot find the file settings and can only guess that it is created during inititializing of the Dreambox.

    Where can I find the default values for E2 so I can change for example default skin?

    Very nice that the webif is on it way now. Been downloading but I ave to confess that I do not understand how to make the enigma2-plugin-extensions-webinterface.ipk

    Can't find any small howto and my skill in compiling is not advanced.

    /WeeGull

    Since you can have a lots of different combinations of tuners and settings with motor/switches it would be nice if you when creating bouquets choose which tuner the signal should be recived from.

    Any comments? Reasons why this would not be good?

    I run monotone 0.28 and use the bitbake 1.4.2 all that comes with make -f Makefile-opendreambox

    Try to start from beginning again. It is little tricky to get it work as it should it seams. Also it depends on other packages in Linux and I do know which I have i Debian Sarge but not in any other Linux.

    I install these packages,
    apt-get install cvs autoconf automake1.9 libtool gettext flex-old bzip2 pkg-config dpsyco python-psyco python-svn svn-buildpackage diffstat libz-dev texi2html libncurses5-dev ntp-server

    apt-get install libboost-date-time-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-regex-dev libboost-test-dev libboost-dev

    /WeeGull

    cd build

    source ./env.source

    cd ../openembedded

    mtn --db=../oe.mtn update -r 58fb39ec6affc4c4c4238579f54fded2e4908368

    cd ../build

    bitbake dreambox-image

    when glibc 2.3.5 fails

    bitbake -cclean glibcxxxxxxxx

    cd ../openembedded

    mtn --db=../oe.mtn update

    cd ../build

    bitbake dreambox-image

    That should work I think, just writing from my head.

    /WeeGull

    If you are going from scratch with OE 1.4 for 7025 you have to revert the last change in OE so you can compile glibc-intermediate and later when glibc 2.3.5 does not compile you have to clean and update the last chnage in OE.

    Then I goto the build directory and run bitbake dreambox-image and gets lots of these errors, or is it nothing to concern about?

    Nice plugin going to test it as soon as I can.

    Tmbinc made some update to CVS to improve the neutrino-style so it might be good to make a update soon when the support ends up in different images.

    <key id="KEY_OK" mapto="openServiceList" flags="mr" />

    This will open servicelist without moving the cursor up or down one channel.

    thowi

    With my Harman Kardon AVR-435 there are no problem unless I use media player and paus then it sounds bad.

    Normal viewing of channels works as it should and I only use optical output and latest CVS.

    I guess that you have a proper signal with at least 75% SNR?

    Is it possible to find some instructions of how to change kernel cmdline so it includes mem=77M? Or do you need to use serialcable atteched and change it manually every boot?

    Yes, a webgui should be nice but I think that thera are some things that are more important before that.

    Exampel, some channels sends both the dubbed sound (French and German) and at the same time they also send original sound (English).
    With Enigma1 you could set priority of sound and always get English.

    Classic remote. the old beloved Neutrino style remotecontrol. Lots of people is today manual chaining in keymap.xml to get the classic remote.

    As I understand from CVS is a Teletext modul in working progress right now :smiling_face:

    And the a webgui would be really nice so that you could stream from the Dreambox to your computer, miss that much. I have compiled and installed tuxbox-stream but I cant change the channel remote.

    /WeeGull

    1. Since I got reply about the Gsub-plugin in other forum I can say that it does not work on 7025 since it depends on the webgui of Enigma.

    2. I will not say 100% that this worked on Enigma but it works on Motors TV 19.2E which transmitts bothe English and French. With DreamboxEdit you enter which audiopid you want to use and in MotorsTV it is 117 for English, upload and now when choosing the channel you get English. On 1W I only saw this problem on National Geo and during the show it was correct but during commercial breaks it was mixed.
    Maybe it is this are different problems with audio since there are many ways of sending multilanguage.

    2. The mixed Audio on certain channels on 1 West, there is NO 0.9 West, we have had for years now. Like the other modells or software, we have to use the TV Audio and change to mono on the TV. Then choose rigth or left, for the Audio language that we want. Again Im shure we will get software or plugins/addons that can handle this to. Only a matter of time, and it will be there.

    So time is the word here, but this request I also want to see in the near feature, no doubt about that.

    In settings I have activated AC3 Default but when I use a channel that transmitts AC3 Enigma2 does not switch to AC3 automaticly instead I have to do that manually.

    Should not that be automaticaly?

    Channel I use is Canal Digital Nordic (some moviechannels) and also SVT1 and SVT2 when they transmitts AC3. This is on 1W Thor sat.

    When I run bitbake dreambox-image and it is time for cvs update Enigma2 I get the following errors.

    cvs update: warning: cannot write to history file /cvs/CVSROOT/history: Permission denied

    The update works so it is only some history error.

    /WeeGull

    In the Enigma1 you could add in config the string audiochannelspriority and then Enigma used the language according to the string and prioritzed them in correct order.

    s:/extras/audiochannelspriority=Swedish#English#Englisch#english#englisch

    Is this possible or is it possible that it will developed in Enigma2.

    I am trying to make the remote to work in classic mode (Neutrino) but I cant get the OK to only show the servicelist. If I use the method of just reassign the keys in keymap.xml file everytime I press OK it also moves the cursor.

    Found the code where it all happens but I cant get it to work as I wants and any help would be nice.

    I added an idea of what I want to do but the getcurrent does of course not work since it is not defined.

    self["ChannelSelectActions"] = HelpableActionMap(self, "InfobarChannelSelection",
    {
    "switchChannelUp": self.switchChannelUp,
    "switchChannelDown": self.switchChannelDown,
    "switchChannelList": self.switchChannelList,
    "zapUp": (self.zapUp, _("previous channel")),
    "zapDown": (self.zapDown, _("next channel")),
    "historyBack": (self.historyBack, _("previous channel in history")),
    "historyNext": (self.historyNext, _("next channel in history"))
    })

    def switchChannelList(self):
    self.servicelist.getCurrent()
    self.session.execDialog(self.servicelist)

    Got a new box today and it looks the same in bootloader.

    Is it a typo or do you mean that the fall-back is 10 FD och HD? The Dreambox goes to FD.

    The strange thing is that my 7020 works as it should and operates in 100 FD as it should ( or it did sold it today).

    My thoughs is now that bootloader is little buggy and needs more code from 7020 since that worked.

    EDIT, why fallback if you set the speed and duplex manually? It should not do any other speed than what I manually set otherwise why is there the manual setup?

    I'll check that.

    I don't think your hardware is faulty. If you want to check that, use linux, and check from there. Don't use the secondstage as a reference for that.
