  • Dreambox two in endlos boot schleife

    Hi all, thanks for the great suggestions.

    In between I removed the 16G partition from the SDHC and added a new 1G FAT partition lablelled DREAMBOOT to the SD card, so there is now just one active marked primary 1G FAT partition on the 16G SDHC card. (Did this in W10 DOS console with diskpart and format D: /FS:FAT /V:DREAMBOOT due I have actually no linux system except on DB two)


    Tried it on DBox two, but with same result, no success.

    DBox still doesn't recogize the partition on SD. :loudly_crying_face:

    I will try it again with new old 1G SD which hopefully arrives tomorrow.

    Well, thanks for the tip, but this is what I tried already, with a SDHC card labelled "DREAMBOOT" in windows, but it seems the DBtwo doesn't read the SDcard Label correctly (If I've read this part of the log correctly)

    Is there a difference of a SDcard labelled in windows or linux?

    Or, do I have to use a old 2GB SDcard instead of a 16GB SDHC card?

    I'm going to get such an old SD card and will try again.

    Hallo,
    ich habe auf meiner DB two, nachdem ich leichtsinnigerweise über Telnet mit dem MC im \boot Verzeichnis die bootlogo.bmp gegen ein 1280x720 8Bit bootlogo.bmp ausgetauscht habe, nach dem Neustart ebenfalls die Endlos Bootschleife.

    Ich hab zuvor nur die Firmware geflasht (https://dreamboxupdate.com/ope…-dreamtwo-20211122.tar.xz), danach lief die Box mehrere Tage, mit mehreren Reboots.

    Ich komme weder über Telnet auf die Box, noch kann ich über USB neu flashen. Bild bleibt schwarz. Auch hab ich probiert, ob ich mit dem Service MiniUSB -> PC und DreamUp1.3.3.12 auf die Box komme, keine Reaktion.

    Leider funktioniert auch der o.g. Tipp von Ghost mit der mit "DREAMBOOT" gelabelten SD Karte nicht, wobei ich gerade "nur" eine SDHC Karte mit 16GB zur Hand hatte, mit einer 2GB FAT Partition. Weiß nicht ob es eine SD Karte sein muss.


    Wenn ich die Box hinten einschalte, bleibt das Display für ca. 5 Sek. dunkel, dann erscheint für 5 Sek das Dreambox Logo. Danach flackert das Display kurz schwarz, dann ist wieder das Dreambox Logo zu sehen. Das wiederholt sich dann in einer Endlosschleife. Netzwerk, USB, HDMI sind hier noch nicht initialisiert, an der Ethernetbuchse leuchten keine LED

    Dabei ist es egal, ob ich den Power Knopf oben an der Box gedrückt halte oder nicht. Die Power LED leuchtet nach dem Einschalten kurz weiß, dann konstant blau (wie über die UI eingestellt)


    Hat mir evtl. jemand einen Tipp, um zumindest wieder mit Telnet auf die Box zu kommen? Merci schon mal.
