I recently purchased a Dreambox Triple tuner 2st X DVB-S2X Sat / 1st X DVB-C/T2 for my Dreambox DM7080 HD. When I slot the tuner in to the Dreambox the green light on the tuner briefly flashes and then remains off. It seems to me that the tuner isn't detected by the Dreambox, so I'm not able to set it up or configure it in any way. Is this a hardware issue or am I missing something in the setup process?

Hi, I'm helping a friend with an issue they're having with a newly purchased DreamBox 7080HD. I'm not all too familiar with Dreambox so forgive my ignorance. I've scanned the forums and the wiki, but couldn't seem to find an answer, so I hope I haven't missed something.

My question is how to get 5.0°W channels (DVB-S2 PLS: Gold+50416 Multistream) with the 7080HD. Is this a hardware or a software problem? The Dreambox is off-the-shelf with no updates performed yet. If I need to download and update something, could someone point me in the right direction for where to find it? Thanks!
