  • Fehler: Creating partition failed (DM800 HD PRV)

    musste mich neu anmelden, da mein "alter" Account nicht mehr wieder gefunden wurde, bzw. keine Passwortmail bekomme. Hier zu meinem Problem, ich habe in meine DB 8000 eine 3 TB WD Green Festplatte verbaut und wollte die initialisieren, bekomme aber auch die Fehlermeldung "Creating partition failed ".


    Es handelt sich um eine neue Festplatte, ich dachte immer das wenn man eine neue einbaut das diese dann so formatiert wird das es passt?!


    ich bin aber auch absolute Linux Laie, wenn ich die Foren durchsuche finde ich einiges, habe mal mit Telnet folgendes ausgelesen:

    wie gehe ich den jetzt am besten weiter vor? die Platte muss doch erst initialisiert und dann der Aufnahmepfad gemacht werden oder?
