    I tried different images from different teams, including official, including older versions that I knew to work.
    That's why I am suspecting an hardware issue.
    It only occurs during the first half hour after starting (resuming from standby) the dreambox, after that, it works OK for hours

    Dear all,


    I am using a dm800 hd since two years or so.
    I have a new problem since a couple of weeks without having changed anything (no firmware update, no changes in cables, subscriptions,... Nothing)


    HDTV channels are displayed with many pixels and freeze (best case) or black screen (worst case) when I just startup the DM800. After a few minutes, pixelisation is less frequent and after 30 mins or so, it works OK
    Looks like the electronic device has to warm up a little bit before functioning properly.


    This happens only with HDTV, regular channels are OK.
    This happens booth with crypted and FTA channels
    My dishe and cables are OK. I borrowed another DM800 from a friend and this one worked OK


    Any idea, suggestions, remarks, help ?

  • Enigma2 unable to stream CSAT Radio content

    Someone from DMM Support confirmed this is a problem. He can reproduce it.
    All CSAT radio (Astra 19.2) are impacted. Other radios stream correctly.


    As this was working correctly with Enigma 1, this is a regression in Enigma 2


    Could someone from engineering have a look at this ? Thanks for your help

  • Enigma2 unable to stream CSAT Radio content

    I own two dreambox, one old DM7000 running Enigma1 and a newer
    DM800 running Enigma 2.


    CSAT Radio (like RTL, RTL2, Europe 1, ...) streaming to a PC/Mac is not working under Enigma 2.
    It runs well with Enigma 1.


    iTunes plays garbage binary sound while VLC stay silent.


    I tried the official image, the latets CVS, and many third
    party images. They all behave the same way.


    How can we further debug this issue ? I'd like to buy a
    DM8000 to replace my old DM7000 but this is a show stopper for me.

  • Enigma2 - Radio streaming not working ?

    Using a DM800 and a Mac, I can not stream radio from the DB to the Mac.
    TV / Video streaming is OK (including sound) ... only radio is not working


    VLC stays silent
    iTunes gives garbage sound.


    Network connection is OK as you can see below.

    Streaming from my DB7020 is OK. Only DB800 (enigma2) has the problem.
