Just compiled again with 1.4 conf (needed now) and do the make -f thing like the script does.
All the steps are done without problems, but the end fails when actualy building the image.
I have made many images before, but it just wont work any more right now.
The Packages.ipkg file does not excist in the dir mentioned.
It is not a directory either.
Building of image fails.

I am using your makefile but the pull of the DB was ok but then i get this message.

I had a own cvs build image without anything in it, running for days without problems..All of a sudden, the box just restarted..Can happen I thought but after a while it happend again..This time the box hanged in the bootloader stage.
/flash/vmlinux.gz line keeps comming back. (or something like linux.gz)
this was loader 45
after 2 minutes or so the box boot finally further.
Then after 10 minutes of tv (same channel) boom..the box does is again.
I reflashed with the same firmware, and same problem.
Then I went back to older firmware, same issues..The wizard when the box boots for the first time does not come..The box stays in /flash/vmlinux.gz line and won't go further anymore.
I flashed the 20062904 image from the DMM site, and then the box booted again..Wizard came up, scanned channels and watched some tv then the box went without any reason again in the same loop.
this was loader 44
I brought it to my reseller back, and he will sent it to the importer to get it fixed / diagnosed.
Just like that this started to happen..very weird..
NO HDD, NO CF in use..

I have a problem with my 7025.
It was all fine until a week ago.
Now with the latest cvs image but also older images, th ebox boots normal, then i have tv for about a minute or 5 till 10 then the box just reboots.
On the LCD is then dream multimedia visible and the booting /vmlinux.gz line.
That line keeps repeating itself for a minute or 2 and then the box boots up again.
Is this a faulty box now ? or is the something with the loader ?
Is this a know issue or just a faulty box that needs to go back to shop ?
hmm with the export CVS_RSH=ssh command given it works.
I never had to do that for cvs dm7025 before..
well it is down then for almost 3 days..

problem fixed..was a typo !!!
After the _init_ change today on cvs, the compile of image works, then after flash, the initialize default is on the screen and then that goes aways and the screen starts flixering a couple of times (slow) on the tv is the default background with 7025 in it.
After a while the box stops doing anything.
You can access it by telnet and after starting enigma from telnet these errors appear :

I am still in the process of build here..but the image you gave me is fine..Finally I can do a transponder scan again on a sigle sat !!

however..a manual scan is NOT possible at all..
only automatic scan works..no manual scan (transponder or sat) can be done on either tuner.
any lookout for a fix on the short term ?

well with an cvs build (own build) today I stil have dropouts now and then on astra 19.2 east..Channel SBS6 and RTL4 and veronica..
Not nice
i missed the latetst fix for manual scan, and made a new image again just now..
But still same issue..On multi disecq no scan..error message..On other tuner with rotor no problem.

It is about 45 mins ago i think when I flashed my image right after the build.

Well just compiled a new image again..switching is fast again
but I cannot scan at all now..
When starting a manual scan I get ERROR - failed to scan (error starting scanning)! message at once..
So no scanning now..but fast switching between sat's ..
With the tuner B (motor) i can scan..

I don't know the specific type numbers..But it are the good ones
But like i said..When connecting the cable to the dm7000 then all is fine and this issue is not there..
So it is not the hardware (unless it is only faulty with the dm7025 )
