At this point, unplug the dreambox power plug (not just switch off). Disconnect the serial lead from the dreambox. Connect tv scart (should be disconnected before starting dreamup operation). Wait for 30 seconds. Switch on dreambox power. What happens then ?
For including stuff in the image, you will find an English openembedded how-to in Boxman's forum. For including by ftp, all the locations are shown as links from /var.

I have been asked by some to include channel selection in TuxVisionR. I do not think it is necessary now-a-days as you can get the dreambox remote control on your pc by opening this on the browser :-

when you see the remote control, it is possible to do not only channel selection, but all other functions including start plugins (such as StopTVplay which is useful for the smaller boxes to go with TuxVisionR).
