Fast forward and rewind problem during playback with DM800 HD PVR

    With my DM800 HD PVR during playback, when I rewind or fast forward a recording using the red or blue keys, no matter how long I fast forward or rewind, as soon as I press play (green key) or "ok" key to stop the fast forward or rewind action, the playback starts from where I initially started to rewind or fast forward. I can never continue watching from where I stop the fast forward or rewind but it always takes me back to where I started the action.


    However pressing the numeric keys like 1,4,7 for rewind and 3,6,9 for FF works fine


    Does anyone know the solution, that is how I can continue playback from where I stop the fast forward or rewind action

    As far as I understand this bug should be fixed since almost a month (Feb 26). Try a more recent image (from the experimental branch). (Rewind doesn't yet work for HD movies though.)

    I didnt know this was a bug. My image is ****** release 0410 . As far as I know there isnt a newer image from ****** for DM 800 HD PVR. Is there one that you can suggest. (Although this is the most stable image I have tried so far, I still receive "Tune Failed" error from time to time )

    If you want to stay in the forefront I recommend downloading the daily experimental image from http://www.dreamboxupdate.com/opendreambox/1.5/dm800/images/


    It has only the "official" stuff of course, but that contains quite much nowadays, and is what I use without problems.


    Otherwise you will have to wait until the other image makes a new release, and you will usually not get support in this forum about it...
